Software engineer with five years of experience at General Motors, now building Hamrah AI; a cloud-based platform that creates personalized AI experiences for children.

A Bit About Me

I’m a software engineer, fractional CTO, and technical consultant with five years of professional experience at General Motors, where I worked on large-scale, complex software systems in the automotive industry. That experience strengthened my ability to solve challenging technical problems, work within distributed systems, and collaborate across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.

More recently, I’ve worked as a fractional CTO for Hamrah AI, leading the technical direction of an AI-powered platform for children. I also provide freelance software engineering and technical consulting services to businesses and nonprofit organizations. Across these roles, I work on frontend and backend development, cloud architecture, AI integrations, APIs, asynchronous processing, deployment, testing, technical strategy, infrastructure, and user-driven product development.

CTO — Hamrah AI

Built and deployed a personalized educational platform for children, leading the architecture, backend services, cloud infrastructure, testing, and product development. Designed REST APIs and asynchronous workflows using Docker, Cloud Run, PostgreSQL, Cloud Tasks, and Firebase, while turning beta-testing feedback into product improvements.

FREELANCE SOFTWARE ENGINEER — INDEPENDENT

As a Freelance Software Engineer and Technical Consultant, I support businesses and nonprofits with web applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, databases, deployments, troubleshooting, and platform migrations. I also translate business needs into technical solutions and improve reliability through testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.

Software Engineer — General Motors

Served as a technical lead for distributed, API-driven services within a Kafka-based platform supporting secure software deployments across millions of connected vehicles. Led work across design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and root-cause analysis while collaborating with engineering, QA, infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams.

Python Section Leader — University of Arizona

Led and mentored more than 20 undergraduate students through weekly instruction in Python, programming fundamentals, debugging, and problem-solving. Provided individual technical coaching and regular office hours to support student development.

Web Developer Intern — Hydrant

Built andContributed to a full-stack health application that allowed cancer patients to track physical and mental health information. Designed secure REST APIs for managing sensitive user data while supporting reliability, data integrity, and scalable backend performance.

Research Assistant— University of Arizona

Developed algorithms for detecting and mitigating unauthorized data-transmission methods. Performed reverse engineering and static analysis by decompiling Java archive files and generating control-flow graphs, while collaborating with faculty and graduate researchers.

Research Assistant — Arizona/NASA Space Grant Consortium

Analyzed atmospheric-particle data for a NASA-funded research initiative and translated raw results into findings that supported the project’s scientific objectives. Collaborated with research teams to document methods and communicate results.

Paria is one of the sharpest and most positive people I have worked with.

During our time at General Motors, she consistently stood out for how quickly she mastered new technologies. Whenever a tough or unfamiliar assignment came up, she was always eager to take it on, ready to learn and deliver a fine solution at the end. Beyond her raw intelligence, Paria has an approachable, upbeat energy that naturally lifts the team around her.

Seeing her step into the role of founder and executive leader feels completely natural. She has that rare mix of drive, creativity, and grit that it takes to build something from the ground up.

I highly recommend Paria for any leadership role or major venture she takes on.
